Sofia Castro Caldeira
Sofia has been with PARES since 2011, working with a particular focus on Criminal and Administrative Offenses litigation. Over the years, she has handled numerous criminal cases, particularly in economic and financial crime at a national level. She also has extensive experience in tax-related and social security crimes, as well as crimes against property, defamation, medical negligence, and cybercrime.
Sofia has a broad experience in Administrative Offenses litigation, dealing with cases in banking, financial markets, the aviation sector, and environmental and economic regulations. Throughout her career, she has also managed various civil litigation cases, including contractual and non-contractual liability and probate proceedings.
She has been the Coordinator of the Criminal, Administrative Offenses, and Compliance practice area at PARES since 2022 and is a Member of the Fórum Penal – Associação de Advogados Penalistas.
